Mawson House is the club room for the Sporting Car Club of South Australia and even if you’re not a car fanatic, the history and heritage of the club rooms are sure to make for a memorable event.

Mawson House has two function areas to suit your needs:
The Red Room/Percy Wien-Smith Room
The Red Room can be configured for a cocktail style event or function, as well as being able to cater to 60 people for a sit down meal. Perfect for an intimate and informal wedding, your office Christmas function or birthday or engagement party.
For your special function, Cindy’s will decorate The Red Room with stunning chandeliers and full length mirrors to create a classically elegant atmosphere, complimented by the striking red decor of the room. The Red Room is also named for Percy Wien-Smith who helped organise the first Veteran Car and Motorcycle event in Adelaide, in 1934.
The Dining Room/Geoff Berry Room
The Dining Room can be configured as a meals or meeting area for up to 10 people. This makes the space ideal for a corporate function, an intimate birthday celebration or a small engagement dinner.
